A charming Parisian apartment, spacious, warm, in a convenient central location of historic Paris, between the Marais and Montorgueil districts.

Spacious for a 1 bedroom, this 67 square meter (730 sq feet) apartment is on the 3rd floor of a 17th century building (no elevator). The Beaubourg One Bedroom was fully re-designed by an architect in 2000 and has a warm, intimate and charming feel. The apartment sleeps up to 4 persons (1 queen size bed in the bedroom, 2 sofa beds in the living room).

This apartment belongs to friends who now live in Italy, and thus the booking procedures for this apartment are slightly different -- you send a bank transfer payment to them directly when booking, for 50 percent of total cost, then pay the final 50 percent plus a 600 Euros security deposit on arrival to the apartment. The security deposit is returned to you on the last day.

This apartment offers all the charm of traditional Parisian home and a unique romantic atmosphere, with its high ceilings, old wooden beams, authentic floor tiles, contemporary and Asiatic furniture, oriental carpets, and fireplace.

The bedroom is bright, with modern bright wooden floors. The bedroom looks out onto the courtyard, ensuring quiet nights. Besides the queen sized bed, there is a TV and also a large wardrobe, with drawers and shelves, at the disposal of guests.

The bathroom is en suite with the bedroom. Tiled in red-and-white, with a contemporary mirror, a washbasin and a large shower.

The "open" kitchen is functional well-equipped, with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, vitro ceramic stove top, extractor, microwave, toaster, coffee- maker, washing machine and all necessary kitchen utensils.

The living room is the heart of the apartment, with two large windows looking out directly onto the street, and is comfortably spacious at 35 square meters. Around the Chinese coffee table, facing the fireplace, are two contemporary and comfortable armchairs and a large sofa, making this a pleasant place to read or have a drink while perusing the Paris guide books, the art books, the travel magazines and restaurant guides located on the bookshelves. In addition there is a flat screen TV with cable, a DVD player, a Hi Fi player and wireless internet access.

The dining area is near the windows, with a contemporary table. In the Chinese furniture and in the old commode are dishes, glasses, tableware, table-clothes, and candles to arrange a nice table for an intimate dinner for two or with friends.

The apartment is located Rue au Maire, in the 3rd district, between Rue Beaubourg and Rue de Turbigo. Subway station Arts & Metiers (metro lines 3 and 11) is only 50 m away and Reaumur-Sebastopol (metro lines 3 and 4) is just 300 meters away.
