The Beaubourg Two Bedroom apartment was
fully renovated and furnished in 2008. This is a new addition to my collection of apartments and is available to rent as of April 10th 2009 and after this date.
This apartment is located a few minutes walk from the Beaubourg Pompidou Center, and from the Paris City Hall (Hotel de Ville), so is very centrally located in the 3rd arrondissement or district of Paris (the Marais area). The apartment is thus well positioned to enjoy many of important historic sights of Paris on foot.
Housed on the 2nd floor of a typical small 18th century Parisian apartment building (no elevator), the Beaubourg 2 Bedroom offers high standards of comfort in a convenient and quiet central historic district for a reasonable nightly rate per person.
The Beaubourg 2 Bedroom is located courtyard side, ensuring no street noise and the apartment has phonic insulation in the ceiling and walls to ensure minimal noise from surrounding apartments. Although there are no real views from the windows, this is a very quiet apartment.
The
apartment, at 51 square meters (approx. 550 sq. feet),
is compact like most central apartments in Paris,
but sufficiently large to accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The front door leads directly into the living/dining area which is a functional room with white walls and wooden flooring with area rugs. There is a sleeper sofa, coffee table, armchairs, small dining table and chairs, flat screen TV with cable (CNN, BBC channels in English) and DVD player with a selection of DVDs included in the apartment. Wireless high speed internet access is available.
The kitchen area is compact, new and looks directly onto the living-dining area. The kitchen includes a small fridge, stove top burners, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and cupboards with pots, pans and dishes for up to 6 persons.
The bathroom and the two bedrooms all have independent access to and from the living-dining room. The bathroom is spacious and has wooden flooring, a bathtub, a clothes washer / dryer unit and sink with vanity and toilet.
The bedrooms are
off the living area and have a clean relaxing appeal: all in white with firm new bedding.
One bedroom has a Queen bed along with a built in
armoire for clothes and nightstand. The second bedroom includes two single beds and night stand and dresser. This allows up to four persons to sleep in the
bedrooms as well as an additional sleeper sofa which can sleep two
persons.
